Chief Executive Officer
Doug was appointed as CEO of My Home Move, in April 2012 . He brought with him a wealth of experience and a track record of delivering ambitious plans for future growth. He is passionate about leading the transition of companies into becoming exceptional, customer-service led and values-based organisations, in order to differentiate them in often crowded and rapidly changing markets.
Before taking up his position at My Home Move, Doug led several financial and insurance industry focused companies, most recently as Chief Executive of Personal Touch, a financial services network.
"I have always had a love of fast cars", explains Doug, "and when I was a boy I dreamed of owning a classic British sports car; either a TVR or Jaguar. Now, thanks to some hard work and bit of luck, I get to drive both."
Customer Strategy & Marketing Director
Mark is My Home Move’s Customer Strategy & Marketing Director. He has over 20 year’s Marketing, Sales & Service Development experience gained within B2B and B2C markets across a diverse range of sectors. He has been involved with My Home Move since 2000 when he led the initial investment into the business by utility provider npower. Previous roles included service planning & development for a range of large private and public sector organisations. He joined the business in 2007, and, having led change in a variety of areas within the business, he is now responsible for all internal and external marketing and communications activity as well as leading our Service Excellence programme and overseeing strategic project management in the business.
"In my spare time, I juggle work, family life and still play a variety of sport," explains Mark, "especially basketball, football and tennis."
As My Home Move’s IT Director, Paul is responsible for all aspects of information technology within the company – a strategically important role that ensures My Home Move delivers the technology driven and client-focused service it prides itself on.
Paul has actively been involved in companies specialising in conveyancing and property information since 2001. Before joining My Home Move he was Technical Director of a property information and conveyancing services company and the Operations Director of a financial transaction/payment services provider.
One of Paul’s hobbies is photography. As he explains, “although I appreciate modern digital SLRs, there’s something about the ‘old school’ charms of my rangefinder camera that makes it my camera of choice. In product design, less can often be more.”
Group Distribution Director
As Group Sales Director, Dev is responsible for the development and delivery of My Home Move’s distribution strategy. Dev is accountable for the company’s retail and corporate sales channels. His role includes relationship management, proposition development and overseeing the company’s panel management offering.
Before joining My Home Move, Dev spent 22 years in financial services, including senior roles with Nationwide and as a board director with Pink and Personal Touch. He also sat on two subsidiary boards including a residential valuation business and a debt solutions company.
Having given up playing rugby after 26 years, Dev needed to do something to avoid becoming too round and so developed a passion for running. As he explains, “It helps with the body and mind although these days the mind seems to move a bit quicker than the legs!”
Commercial and Finance Director
A Chartered Accountant by background, John joined My Home Move in April 2013 as Finance and Commercial Director.
John has spent much of his career working in the retail financial services industry. He spent a number of years with Birmingham Midshires before joining Nationwide Building Society where he held various senior finance positions.
John has been interested in music from a very early age, although vinyl, rather than the CD, was the medium when he started building his collection. Speaking of his love for music, John said, “Although the arrival of digital downloads has made the purchase of music more immediate, I still prefer to be able to hold the CD and look at the artwork.”
Tony joined My Home Move in March 2014 as the company’s new Operations Director. He has over 30 years’ experience working in the financial services sector, most recently for RBS and NatWest.
Consumer Online Director
Neal joined My Home Move in 2015 as Consumer Online Director and is responsible for My Home Move's online sales channel, delivering direct sales through online marketing and website optimisation.
He developed his digital expertise during his 30 years working in the Retail industry, focusing on e-commerce and online shopping with household names like Next and Very, inventing new ways for people to shop and enhancing their online experience.
A lot of Neal’s spare time is spent with his family. He explains, “With a toddler about the place, the need to get fit again is a priority, so it’s time for me to get back in the saddle on my new mountain bike and hit the trails around the National Forest…and beyond.”
Director of Human Resources
Karen joined My Home Move in November 2015 as Director of Human Resources. She is responsible for the company’s employment strategy, which includes the recruitment and retention of our employees, their ongoing training and employee benefits.
Karen previously worked for Xylem Water Solutions, GRG Executive Search and Germanischer Lloyd, gaining over 17 years’ experience within the HR sector. She is an experienced board level partner who excels in ensuring HR functions perform to support a company’s strategic vision.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys jetting off around the world. She explains, “I love to travel, particularly to the United States and India. One of my favourite places to visit is New Orleans. There’s such a varied atmosphere, with so many cultures thrown together in one big melting pot, which makes it vibrant and a lot of fun.”

Corporate Distribution Director
Mark joined My Home Move in November 2015 as Corporate Distribution Director and is responsible for our large Corporate business relationships, as well as building the Corporate strategy.
With over 30 years of experience working in the Financial Services sector, his previous roles have included CEO, Managing Director, Executive Director of an AIM listed business and Chief Operating Officer. Mark has worked in businesses ranging from second mortgage lenders, to first mortgage lenders and a large credit brokerage. His most recent roles have been at Managing Director level at specialist mortgage lenders, including a role within a start-up business.
“Outside of work my interests are varied,” Mark explains, “from spending time with my family at home in the Cotswolds, to travelling, reading and cycling. One of my biggest passions is playing golf, which is my favourite sporting hobby. I also have a weakness for cars and collecting watches as ‘investments’”.
Retail Distribution Director
Stephen has been with My Home Move since its formation in 2000. He is the company’s Retail Sales Director, responsible for the sale and ongoing account management of its services to Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and networks. He manages a nationwide team of Regional Development Managers who work to support over 1,000 Introducers.
As a lifelong property professional and qualified Chartered Surveyor, Stephen has experience in property sales, valuation and surveying of residential property. He is also a longstanding advocate for change in the home moving process, to make it as simple and stress-free as possible.
“Petrol runs through my veins” explains Stephen, “and the image of Patrick McGoohan driving a Lotus 7 along the beach at Portmerion inspired me to have my own. The nearest thing to a motorbike or Kart on the road, it is the ideal way to blow away a few cobwebs.”
Head of Legal Practice
Rob is the Head of Legal Practice, Chairman, Senior Director and Money Laundering Reporting Officer for Premier Property Lawyers. He is ultimately responsible for the service Premier Property Lawyers provides as a regulated law firm.
Prior to joining My Home Move in 2001, Rob worked for several other law firms, developing his residential conveyancing knowledge and working towards his professional qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer. He is also a Board member for the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.
For Rob, his hiking poles signify his love of mountain climbing and the great outdoors in general. As he says, “However crazy modern life can become, all my cares disappear when I pull on my boots and escape to the hills. I still have my biggest challenge to come, to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid our charitable trust – I can’t wait.”
General Manager India
As General Manager of My Home Move India, Nand’s role is to manage both Pune and Vadodara (formerly Baroda) Operations. He is responsible for executing the business strategy at My Home Move India and continuously driving it to achieve operational excellence.
Nand has over 13 years experience of setting up, building and managing Operations in various Legal Processing companies. Prior to his current role, he worked with IDS Infotech Limited as a Project Manager and WNS Global Services Pvt Ltd as Associate Vice President.
Nand has a love of technology and in his own words he says, “I chose my iPad, simply because I like gadgets. My iPad is my latest gadget; I use it almost all the time.”
Head of Strategic Projects
Nisha joined My Home Move in 2002 after completing her LLB Law degree, starting as a conveyancer specialising in the residential sector. With the growth of the company, she progressed into her current role as Head of Strategic Projects. Nisha is responsible for managing the delivery of a portfolio of projects, working closely with the Board of Directors.
Nisha has undertaken several strategic projects within the business, including setting up My Home Move's off-shore operations and modernising the conveyancing processes. Through this work, she developed a passion for driving projects from brief to delivery.
“Travelling is one of my best hobbies and I love to jet off at any opportunity to visit new and exciting countries. India is one of my favourite destinations because of its vibrancy, rich culture and history (not forgetting the Bollywood!). I am also an enthusiastic cook and like to put my culinary skills to the test.”

Head of Conveyancing Support
Caroline is Head of Conveyancing Support and a qualified Solicitor. She joined the company in 2002 and during her training at My Home Move, she gained experience working in High Street Law Firms. Caroline’s passion has always been for conveyancing and the property industry.
She is responsible for a wide range of teams that assist a transaction, from when the initial instruction form is received, up until the point of exchange of contracts, including the Conveyancing Support and ID teams. In 2014, Caroline received the CEO Award for Excellence for transforming the support areas, which was presented at the annual Customer at the Heart Awards.
Caroline is a notorious bookworm and has an expansive collection of novels. “I love reading anything, from legal articles, short stories to huge novels.” Caroline explains, “My favourites are the Classics, in particular anything from Jane Austen or the Bronte sisters – I’m a secret romantic at heart.”
Head of HR Operations
Kevin joined My Home Move in October 2014 as HR Business Partner, with over 10 years of generalist HR experience. In his role, he leads the HR team and works closely with Operations and the Executive Board to deliver the company’s ambitious goals for the future. Kevin attained his advanced Level 7 CIPD qualification for Human Resources in 2005 and has worked in Financial Services ever since. Kevin is qualified MCIPD and has previously undertaken a variety of leadership and managerial roles within Banking, Insurance and Pensions.
Kevin is passionate about technology. He explains, “Technology continues to change the world and the Human Resources sector is no different and set to change dramatically over the next few years, by embracing this change MHM will continue to become one of the country’s best places to work”.

Head of Learning and Development
Siobhan is Head of Learning and Development at My Home Move. She oversees Conveyancing Training, Leadership Development and e-learning and has been instrumental in setting up My Home Move’s industry-leading Learning and Development Academy, as well as the Virtual Academy.
Having joined the company in 2002, Siobhan is a prime example of My Home Move’s strategy for nurturing home-grown talent. She is accredited by the CLC to provide in-house training to My Home Move employees, enabling them to become qualified Licensed Conveyancers. As an active member of the Licensed Conveyancers Apprenticeship Consortium, Siobhan supports the industry’s quest for developing new talent. She is also an Adair Accredited Leadership Trainer and has recently been shortlisted for Learning and Development Professional of the Year at the CIPD People Management Awards 2015.
Siobhan loves cooking, particularly Italian food, and she is currently compiling a book of her favourite recipes, which she has tried and tested over the years. Siobhan also juggles work and family life with the role of being Chair of Governors at her son’s school.
Head of Conveyancing
David joined My Home Move in 2002 as a Trainee Conveyancer, progressing to become Head of Conveyancing at the Manchester operations centre in 2015.
After qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer through My Home Move's in-house learning and development programme, David progressed into various Conveyancing Manager roles and later became Head of Conveyancing in at the Northampton office.
Having developed his career with the My Home Move ethos, David is now responsible for ensuring that his teams adopt the same positive and forward-thinking attitude. One thing close to his heart is building a vibrant and community-spirited working environment, which he feels enhances performance and, most importantly, the satisfaction of clients.
During his younger years, David enjoyed playing football and still plays today, having played competitively for over 20 years. He draws some comparisons between the beautiful game and conveyancing: “Working as part of a team is the key to success in the My Home Move community. We all work together to reach the same goal of getting people moved quickly and efficiently. We strive to stay ahead of the game and work hard to score a great result for our clients.”
Head of Finance
As Head of Finance, Julia manages the Finance team and is responsible for the provision of financial and management information to the business, as well as supporting the company to achieve its targets as a member of the senior management team.
Julia is a Chartered Accountant and before joining My Home Move she spent 17 years as an accountant in practice. She brings with her 10 years of experience at PwC, working with a variety of clients of different sizes and in a number of diverse sectors.
Julia has played netball for Hinckley for the last eight years and during that time helped the club realise their dreams of building and owning their own courts. These days she likes to help other clubs achieve their ambitions by using her acquired knowledge to help them apply for funding.
